Coach Sofiya Kulikovksa is the head coach and founder of SK Rhythmic Academy. She has worked with all levels of athletes and trained gymnasts who have gone on to win state and regional competitions and compete at the national level. In addition to her gymnastics career, Coach Sofiya has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Oakland University. Coach Sofiya feels honored and grateful that she is able to help children work towards their goals and realize their greatest potential.

Sofiya Kulikovska | Owner/ Head Coach

Coach Oleksandra was a rhythmic gymnast for fifteen years. She participated in many international and regional competitions. Coach Oleksandra started her coaching career in 2017. She received a Bachelor's degree in Rhythmic Gymnastics Coaching from Kharkiv State University of Physical Education and continued her coaching career in Ukraine, instilling a love of rhythmic gymnastics in children, working on gymnasts' perseverance, self-confidence, concentration, and emotional stability. She was a head coach of all competitive levels at Club Advanced in Poltava. Coach Oleksandra joined our team in 2023. She participated in the preparation of our level 6 and 7 gymnasts for the Regional and National competitions where the gymnasts won prizes and placed in the top 12 of the best in their levels out of the qualifiers from the whole country. Coach Oleksandra has many special qualities among which are the gymnasts' high results achievement at competitions, determination, readiness to improve qualifications, and self-improvement.

Coach Oleksandra Kosenko

Coach Olena was an acrobatic gymnast for seven years. She competed in duo and group acrobatic gymnastics events in Ukraine and Poland. Coach Olena started working as a gymnastics coach in 2019. She taught the fundamentals of gymnastics to children 3 years of age and older. Coach Olena joined our club in 2023. She is working with our youngest gymnasts and leads our recreational and pre-competitive team programs. Coach Olena is studying to complete her Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Gymnastics Coaching.

Coach Olena Kolushkina

Coach Nadiya is helping with a routine choreography at SK Rhythmic Academy. She began ballroom dancing at a young age in Lviv, Ukraine, and earned numerous awards and best dancer titles from many different competitions and conventions. Coach Nadiya attended the Ivan Frank National University of Lviv where she obtained her Master’s Degree in Mathematics and worked as a math professor for 10 years. In her free time, Coach Nadiya loves creating rhythmic gymnastics leotards and team apparel.

Coach Nadiya Kolodiy

Annabelle Weathers was born and raised in New York City where she began training ballet at the age of nine at the Joffrey Ballet. She attended the high school of Performing Arts, majoring in dance/ballet with a minor in modern. During high school, she performed with the senior group every year and performed solos in ballet and modern. Annabelle continued her training with Joffrey and Elliot Feld, studying tap, four styles of modern, ballet, and ballroom through the years. After high school, she danced with several promotions groups and a ballroom company, as well as doing hand modeling and commercial print work. Furthering her career, she was the form coach at a gymnastics company for eight years where her youngest daughter studied.

Our Coaches

Coach Iryna Sovach is a highly accomplished rhythmic gymnastics coach with over 20 years of experience. A former member of the Ukrainian National Team and a Master of Sport in rhythmic gymnastics, she holds a degree in Physical Education and Rhythmic Gymnastics Coaching from Zaporozhye University in Ukraine.

Throughout her career, Coach Iryna has worked with children aged 4 to 16, helping them develop their skills and achieve their full potential. She has served as a head coach and choreographer for both individual and group gymnasts in Switzerland and Holland. In addition to her coaching expertise, Coach Iryna has also been a national-level judge at numerous rhythmic gymnastics competitions, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to every aspect of the sport.
